Our Teams
Our Actuarial team is responsible for calculating the Group’s reserves which feeds into our Financial Accounts as well as our overall Balance Sheet. Coupled with the acquisitive nature of Enstar, the Actuarial team performs a key function in the strategic planning effort of the Group and acts as a strategic partner to support commercial decision making.
Enstar’s capital protects our policyholders. The Capital Management and Modelling team own the models that quantify the risks to our business. Our effective management influences the Group’s appetite for exciting new transactions, investment composition and capital structure.
Enstar's Claims teams oversee the Group's legacy transactions; proactively managing acquired claim portfolios until all liabilities have been finalised. We work collaboratively with many other Enstar functions and are committed to paying valid claims promptly and protecting our policyholders. Our claims adjusters are subject matter experts with a wealth of experience handling claims from first notice, investigation, litigation, to final settlement/closure.
Cranmore, a business unit of Enstar, performs a variety of claims handling, (re)insurance reviews and assurance services across the Group. Cranmore staff are located in the UK, US, Ireland and Brussels and have experience across many (re)insurance disciplines, providing a broad skill-base to swiftly respond to the Group’s needs.
We are building a modern Finance team and invite problem solvers to join us. We are united in our vision to develop and empower our people, to lead change, to improve the quality of work we do, and add value to the business. We are OneFinance.
Enstar's Investment Management team provides investment services to the Enstar Group of companies including investment strategy, asset allocation, oversight of third-party investment managers and governance reporting. We work with Enstar’s senior executives and the Investment Committee to establish the Group's investment policy and to tailor the investment function to meet the needs of Enstar's related entities.
With over 120 transactions completed to date, our M&A function is an acknowledged leader in the legacy market. We offer a broad suite of capital relief solutions and contribute to Enstar’s growth through sourcing and executing new transactions. Our team of specialists analyse transaction opportunities on a global scale, working with multi-disciplinary experts to diligence, price and execute transactions. We have been involved in some of the largest and most complex situations in the legacy market and continue to lead through innovation. Our clients know they can rely on us to create mutually beneficial solutions and develop long-term, trusted relationships.
We actively take on risk—whether it’s an acquisition of a book of business, or investment risk emanating from the markets. Therefore, effective enterprise risk management (ERM) is a top priority for our business.
Our risk management strategy maximises returns whilst minimising risk. This is achieved by deploying our comprehensive ERM framework to identify, measure, manage, monitor and report on risks that affect our objectives.
Key to the day-to-day work carried out by Enstar is a multitude of teams ranging from IT to Treasury and Operations to HR; these units carry out essential work allowing for our strategic functions to continue performing at a high and professional level across our various offices from Bermuda to Australia and the US to Liechtenstein. These teams provide the solid basis upon which Enstar has been able to become the leader in managing legacy solutions for our clients.

Saracens - our DE&I Partnership
Enstar is the official re/insurance partner of Saracens Women's Rugby and Mavericks Netball. These elite women's sports teams form part of the wider Saracens Group which includes the men's Premiership Rugby Club, Saracens.
Furthering equality requires removing the barriers that still exist for women in sport. By supporting Saracens women's rugby and netball teams, Enstar can make a significant difference to the development of the players and teams.
Working with Saracens enables Enstar to play a role in challenging gender stereotypes and biases, breaking down barriers and creating inclusive environments in which women and girls can thrive.
We are proud to be aligned to an organisation with these shared values and have put in place several initiatives for our employees that have helped to raise awareness and celebrate important global causes.
